Vicon will launch the new ViconNet digital video platform for powerful and flexible remote control of digital video and audio over LANs and WANs.
Incorporated into Vicon's Kollector Elite DVR range,or as a separate software package for installation on networked PCs, ViconNet 's remote capabilities encompass scheduling, recording, configuring and simultaneous viewing of live and recorded images. Video and audio data can be managed and streamed from any Kollector Elite DVR to any other DVR or authorized PC on a network.
Multi-site risks are mitigated by the further features of mirrored recording and archiving for extra security. Image quality is maintained by enabling each channel of video data to be streamed across several servers and clients through the network with no frame rate or resolution degradation.
Also on show will be the V1500 matrix with LAN communication for large-scale matrix system users and the newest range of high-speed Surveyor dome systems.
