Amid the clamour of this year's IFSEC fair at the NEC in Birmingham, few new products cut through the background noise more strongly than the ViconNet range of DVR solutions including the new Kollector Elite network digital recorder.
There were possibly more DVRs on show this year than ever before but it was the power and flexibility of the ViconNet software that helped place the Vicon product head and shoulders above the rest. Members of the press, installers and consultant / specifiers alike were amazed at the way high-resolution video, audio and archiving functions were bounced back and forth across a network with such ease and speed.
Visitors came from across Europe, Africa and the Middle & Far East to see for themselves. From the British market itself, orders have already been received from some of the largest systems installers and integrators and the list is growing.
