Vicon to Include Touchcom, Inc. in National Accounts Program

Hauppauge, NY November 8, 2006:  Vicon Industries Inc., a leading designer and producer of video surveillance systems, today announced a National Account Agreement with Touchcom Inc. Touchcom is a systems integrator for communication networks and security systems in the US, Europe, and the Middle East.  The partnership expands each company’s ability to furnish both custom-designed and standardized high-end, digital video solutions to meet the diverse requirements of the Government, Institutional, Commercial and Educational sectors.

Touchcom will integrate the complete Vicon product line, including the ViconNet enterprise-level digital video management platform, with its OneFacility web-based property management system. OneFacility automates many of the daily transactions that occur between tenants and property owners, including submission of work orders, security management and visitor admissions. Within this context, Touchcom will now offer ViconNet-based systems to provide enterprise-level video surveillance capabilities. ViconNet encompasses unified system design, global management and scalable open architecture, that when coupled with Vicon’s end-to-end product line, forms a comprehensive video surveillance solution for any application. It is also fully compatible with applications from the top access control and video analytic companies. All of these were key factors in Touchcom’s decision to partner with Vicon

“The marketplace today demands long-term commitment from the manufacturer and integrator to install and support video surveillance and security systems. Touchcom has demonstrated a company-wide commitment to excellence. In addition, their adaptability to changing customer requirements reflects our core company values.” states Bret McGowan, Vice President of US Sales and Marketing at Vicon.

“Vicon’s end-to-end product line and the ViconNet platform, coupled with their commitment to customer support and price point, align 100% with Touchcom’s go-to market strategy.  The integration between OneFacility and ViconNet will redefine the security landscape and continue to push the capabilities of the security industry in general” says Patrick Barry, Vice President of Sales at Touchcom.
