Hauppauge, NY, October 5, 2007: Vicon Industries Inc., a leading designer and producer of digital and IP video surveillance systems for 40 years, has been accepted as a registered provider in the award-winning American Institute of Architects Continuing Education System to provide continuing education to its architects and engineers. The AIA provides opportunities for members to enhance their skills through effective learning partnerships with firms and continuing education providers in addition to offering a collection of resources to boost their value within the industry.
Vicon plans to provide classes, both live and online, that cover technology and design considerations critical to today’s IP and hybrid installations. Classes will be taught by Richard Koharik, Vicon’s A&E Services manager. Richard Koharik is a certified adult education instructor and is a member of ASIS and the Construction Specification Institute (CSI).
