HAUPPAUGE, NY, September 1, 2005 – Vicon Industries, Inc. (ASE: “VII”), a leading designer and producer of video surveillance systems, today announced that the United States Postal Service (USPS) has awarded Vicon a contract to be their exclusive National Direct Vendor for CCTV systems. The contract, which has been executed by both parties, provides for an initial two (2) year term together with three two (2) year renewal options. It can be cancelled at any time by the USPS.
