Free Events, Open to A&Es, Integrators and Current and Prospective End-Users, Will Present Vicon’s New Integrated Digital Video Management and Access Control Solution

Hauppauge, NY, June 1, 2009:  Vicon Industries Inc., a leading designer and producer of integrated IP video surveillance and access control systems, announced today that it will be offering a series of free, half-day seminars in Toronto, Calgary and Edmonton over the next six week period. The events, which are open to technology specifying A&Es, security integrators, Vicon end-users and prospective end-users, will introduce attendees to the opportunities and benefits that can be derived from integrated, IP-based video surveillance and access control systems. The sessions will include discussion of the underlying technologies, system design considerations, application ideas and installation examples. There will also be a demonstration of Vicon’s integrated IP solution and a presentation of how other powerful tools and technologies, like megapixel cameras and video analytics, can add value and performance to these systems. Presenters will include key Vicon technical, sales and support personnel. A complimentary breakfast will be provided.
