Hauppauge, NY, May 7, 2007: Vicon Industries Inc., a leading designer and producer of video surveillance systems, has added two new authorized service and repair centers in Eastern Canada. The two new centers, operated by Video Experts of Mississauga, Ontario and St-Laurent, Quebec, will join LAM Tech of Edmonton, Alberta, as locations authorized to provide warranty and non-warranty work on Vicon products. This will allow Vicon to better accommodate a growing customer base in the important Canadian market.
Video Experts is a highly trusted CCTV service center that offers repair service and preventative maintenance for most Vicon products from cameras to digital video recorders. The company has one call center, English and French speaking, for both locations. This creates a more centralized and consistent approach, allowing for service to be efficiently and easily monitored. Vicon parts will be on hand to ensure fast turnaround, and quality is guaranteed as each unit serviced will undergo Video Experts’ quality assurance testing program. The extensive testing program consists of the unit being tested and monitored, reevaluated internally and then sent to the cleaning station where the unit is externally evaluated.
