ViconNet 5.0 combines the power of ViconNet with open platform flexibility, allowing for easy integration with most major IP camera manufacturers, such as Panasonic, Bosch, Sony, Arecont Vision, ACTi, Axis and IQinVision.

 ViconNet 5.0 will also introduce support for megapixel cameras, the seamless integration of ViconNet VI Video Intelligence within the ViconNet interface, support for the ViconNet GUI on 16:9 displays and maps for the Virtual Matrix Controller. In addition, all features introduced in version 4.0, including the Virtual Matrix Controller, logical camera groups, flexible fps, alarm alerts and alarm investigation tools, will remain active within the new open platform environment.
