Vicon Industries Watches Over South Sioux City

South Sioux City in Nebraska integrates Vicon’s ViconNet IP Digital Video System with city-wide wireless internet to improve security and view video on-the-go.

 Hauppauge, NY, February 14, 2006 - Vicon Industries Inc., a leading designer and producer of video surveillance systems, today announced that South Sioux City in Nebraska has integrated Vicon’s ViconNet IP Digital Video solutions with their city-wide wireless internet service to improve security.  South Sioux City wanted to be able to provide local police and 911 emergency centers remote monitoring of public school district video cameras. They integrated ViconNet into their city-wide wireless system, allowing city police to monitor video right from laptops mounted in their police cars.
